Long Beach Food Scene Week is the city's annual ten-day celebration of its dining community — more than 100 restaurants offering special menus, chef collaborations, and prices that make August the month to eat here.

Chez Bacchus is a proud participating restaurant. For the run of the week, we are serving two special menus — a three-course dinner Wednesday through Sunday, and a single-tier Tea Tower on Saturday and Sunday. Both are available for the Food Scene Week price only during the run of the week.

Parmesan polenta, peaches, crispy shallots.

When is Long Beach Food Scene Week 2026?

Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 9. Ten days across more than 100 participating Long Beach restaurants.

What does the Chez Bacchus dinner include?

Three courses for $70 per guest. First: Atlantic Lobster Skewer with lobster bisque, pasilla peppers, summer corn. Second: Lamb Merguez Sausage with parmesan polenta, peaches, crispy shallots. Dessert: Fried-to-order Beignet with maple glaze and candied bacon.

What does the LBFSW Tea Tower include?

$40 per guest for tableside loose-leaf tea, a Tomato Bisque starter, and a three-tier tower — strawberry streusel cupcake with fruit skewer on top; 'everything bagel' cream cheese scone with clotted cream in the middle; ham Caesar sandwich and mushroom-corn-pepperjack quiche on the bottom.

Are these prices only during Food Scene Week?

Yes. Both the $70 dinner and the $40 Tea Tower are Long Beach Food Scene Week special pricing, available July 31 through August 9 only. Standard menu and pricing resume on August 10.

Do I need a reservation?

Yes. Tables fill quickly during Food Scene Week. Reserve through OpenTable or call (562) 336-1440. Note “LBFSW” in the reservation notes so the team seats you with the Food Scene Week menu in hand.

Can substitutions or modifications be made?

Tea Tower substitutions are politely declined — the menu is set for the week. Allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated with at least 48 hours notice. For the dinner menu, please call us directly to discuss dietary needs.

Where is Chez Bacchus?

743 East 4th Street in the Long Beach Arts District, Long Beach, CA 90802. Two blocks from Pine Avenue, walking distance from Downtown Long Beach and the East Village.

What are the regular hours?

Dinner: Wednesday through Sunday, 5:00 to 9:30 PM. Afternoon Tea: Saturday and Sunday, seatings at 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Closed Monday, Tuesday, and select holidays.
