Chez Bacchus Presents · Winemaker Dinner

Beringer · 150 Years

A five-course evening with Beringer winemaker Margo Van Staaveren, celebrating Napa Valley’s longest continuously operating winery.

Wednesday, June 24 · 6:30 PM · $195 per guest

A Century and a Half, in Five Courses

Beringer was founded in 1876, and has poured wine through every California decade since. In a quiet milestone year, we are honored to host their winemaker, Margo Van Staaveren, for an evening that traces the winery’s legacy through five courses and five carefully chosen pours.

Executive Chef Danny Le has composed each course in direct conversation with the wines — not to compete with them, but to draw out what they were already saying. The result is an evening of true pairing rather than simple accompaniment: the wines speak, the food answers, the room listens.

Margo Van Staaveren

Beringer’s winemaker and the steward of a portfolio that spans Napa’s most storied appellations.

Margo leads the winemaking team at Beringer Vineyards. She will guide guests through the lineage personally — how the vineyards have changed, what 150 years of stewardship looks like in the glass, and the wines she is most proud to pour tonight.
